Important Changes to Funding: Last call for New Registrations into the Forestry Focused Future programme.
As we enter the last year of the programme we are now taking some action to focus the remaining funding.
What is changing?
FFF will be closed to new registrations into the Skills Development Scheme from Friday 30th April.
Registration with the Forestry Focused Future programme will still be possible for those who wish to take part in Mentoring.
Why is this changing?
Forestry Focused Future has supported 932 businesses since it started, something that we are proud of and many more than we thought. With each beneficiary comes a training agreement which we are sure both the beneficiaries and we would like to fund. If we keep on taking on more training agreements, then everyone will be disappointed. This is to ensure we deliver on our commitments.
We don’t want to disappoint beneficiaries later in the year by not being able to fund their training agreement. Doing this now means we can manage the remaining budget correctly and be able to fund our commitments.
What does this mean for you?
If you were previously registered with the Forestry Focused Future programme that launched March 2018, but your registration has lapsed you can still re-register with us as the scheme is still open to pre-existing beneficiaries.
If you were a beneficiary of the previous Focus on Forestry First programme or signed up to this mailing list without registering with us. and not yet registered with our current programme, you must do so before Friday 30th April in order to access the Skills Development Scheme.
If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing info@focusonforestryfirst.co.uk or calling us on 0808 178 2757.
