  1. Invoice

  2. Attendance Register

  3. Proof of Pass’ document from the Assessor (in place of certification).

Payments will be made on the understanding that the Training Provider or Beneficiary Business will email a copy of the actual certification to info@focusonforestryfirst.co.uk as soon as it has been received.

Any invoices and claims received after 5pm on Friday 17 March 2023, without prior written approval from FFF will be returned and not paid.

Funding courses with start dates from 1 March 2023

We recently announced that we will be opening our own Skills Development grant scheme in 2023.

The funding be for courses starting from 1 March 2023. Registrations into this new scheme will open on 1 January 2023 and close Summer 2023.

What will change?

The process for Training Providers for 2023 will be the same, but we have a few key changes for the new scheme:

  • Registrations / Renewals: As this is a new scheme, current beneficiaries will need to re-enter into the scheme, further details are outlined on our website.

  • Funding Rate: Courses booked with start dates from 1 March 2023 will be funded at 50% grant rate. The beneficiary will need to pay a 50% contribution fee to secure funding.

  • Eligibility: FFF will no longer support Public Funded Organisations or Woodland Owners through Skills Development after 31 March 2023.

What does this mean for Training Providers?

All current Training Agreements for the WG scheme expire on 31 March 2023, our Terms & Conditions state that the courses must be started on or before 28 February 2023.

If a beneficiary books funded training dated 1 March 2023 onwards, they will need to have renewed their registration with FFF and received an updated agreement from us.

You will know if this is a new agreement as the start date stated on their training agreement will be from 1 January 2023.

As we allow 3 months lead time on notifications, you may begin submitting notifications for courses starting 1 March 2023 as soon as the beneficiary has registered / renewed their registration.

The Skills Development Scheme Rules for 2023 will be published on our website shortly.

Please Note: We have a smaller team now, as we work part-time and from home, our preferred method of communication is by email.

To get in touch with us please email info@focusonforestryfirst.co.uk.
