The Institute of Chartered Foresters and Focus of Forestry First have teamed up to bring you a one-day workshop that focuses on community consultation.
We are grateful and thankful for Natural Resources Wales support.
Develop or manage woodlands and forests; people, their needs and interests vary from place to place and the type and contact of each forest and woodland is unique. This one-day course will explore who are the communities you need to consult, why you are consulting them, the benefits this will bring and the best methods and techniques to use. The course will be delivered by trainers who have first-hand experience of working in this field, drawing on their practical knowledge and experiences. Through, presentations, group discussions, practical exercises, the course aims to give the participants the confidence to start sharing their plans for forest and woodland plans with communities through public events.
